happiness is:

- sleeping late, staying up even later
- two weeks of school holidays stretching out ahead
- being so filled with creativity that your brain won't switch off & you can't sit still
- spending time soaking in all the wonderful eyecandy to be found on pinterest
- a lapful of warm, sleepy puppydog
- a purring kitty
- multiple games of Words with Friends taking place with friends all over the globe
- the gorgeous colours of the trees as they put on one last runway show before winter
- new sheets & duvet set for the bed
- walking on a crisp, cool autumn morning, accompanied by the mister, the dog, & a fabulous custom-made playlist on my ipod
- stripey socks
- spending the day in PJ pants
- fresh organic cherry tomatoes from my sister ♥
- a new sewing machine & a newly-discovered passion for sewing paper journals
- capturing my life in snapshots through the wonder that is instagram (I love how it looks all laid out like this. LOVE.)
-  falling asleep to the sound of rain on the roof
