day two!

I almost opened this at midnight last night, but in an amazing show of self-control, managed to hold off until this morning. does this mean I'm a grown-up now? I SURE HOPE NOT.:D

today's gift is from Penelope Harris, who has made this fantastic little hand-bound book, covered in textured fabric and embellished with metal studs and gold cord. inside the book, the pages are pockets, with each of them containing removable (and beautifully illustrated) cards telling the story of Alchemy. absolutely gorgeous. ♥
